Allyson’s presentation covers basics of copyright law as it pertains to digital libraries.

Bio

Born and raised in Utah, spent two summers in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, and three years in Annapolis, Maryland. I’m a librarian and a big fan of information.

I am interested in how digital technology changes the way scholars communicate, the role copyright plays in those changes, and how libraries should respond. I also have an interest in the history of scholarly communication at the University of Utah as well as the institution’s historical provenance.
